5 WEEKS TO ROUTE DU RHUM

The show is already on. Route du Rhum’s impressive press conference took place in Paris last Thursday. That was kind of an official kick off to numerous activities before the race start in Nov 4th.

The legendary race celebrates its 40th anniversary. It has always been a big spectacle but is now even more popular than ever. 122 skippers on the starting line. Huge follower volume expected.

My final preparations are having busy times, too. The delivery from Helsinki to Gosport was eventually made in two parts and Ariel2 arrived in Endeavour Quay on Friday. She’ll be sailed to Saint-Malo after mid Oct but before Oct 24th.
