WEEK 12
Crown or the week was rounding the Cape Horn. Historical moment for Ari and the Nordic sailing. Only 3 single-handed Finnish sailors haver rounded this legendary cape before him.
After rounding the Horn Ari finally had a chance to rest a while. That came in need really. But was cut short. The sea conditions have been mostly violent the whole week. Upwind and nasty, sharp waves that hammer the boat from all directions. Good thing is that Ari has been sailing quite near Alexia all the time. They keep chatting daily – also with Sam who is already a bit more ahead.

TWO WINNERS
This was the week for the first finishes of the race – that actually got 2 winners. Line of honor went to Charlie Dalin /Apivia and Victory went to Yannick Bestaven who crossed the finish line the third. Such has never happened before but the time compensation he got because of the PRB saving operation mixed the podium.
